That's fair enough in my opinion, at least they have realised the concerns members have and acknowledged them. Can't ask more at this stage, least now what ever action they take it will be deliberate policy and they have thought it through.

Boldly going where no one has caught before...... My bet is they will still make a few changes, just nothing as drastic.

Just had an email though from them, least they gave themselves some time before introducing new changes. Suppose they could have introduced them within a week or 2 and we'd have been in a right mess.

I don't think they'd take to kindly to me being an admin on a Royal Marines Forum with over 2500 members.

Unfortunately, a swear filter would be counter-productive here ARRSE- THE British Army's unofficial community, as much of the content consists entirely of swearing!! There's even a token Navy section too GW!!

To be fair anyone that slags off the Para's on our site gets a ban. We often get a few trying to start the old RM V Para debate, the people that start it have usually never been in either and just trying a wind up.

Maybe in peace time but things a bit too serious at minute for anything beyond light hearted banter.
