Why on earth Corbyn didn't stick to his anti EU guns is beyond me. He sticks to his principles all the time, ever god dam losing principle that man has and he holds it closely until it explodes on him.
The one winning principle he has held for decades, and he ditches it. He's what we call a looser.
Well he didn't exactly put any weight behind his argument. He had a tea party debate with a bunch of kids where he spent most of the time talking about Jo Cox and then defended our place in the EU by talking about workers rights and the 4 weeks holiday. And then of course saying you could reform the EU but uncapped immigration was not on that agenda showed he had no desire to support the remain campaign and stay. But there was a hedge, if we remained he felt he had a future promoting change in the EU to form a socialist Europe. He is a very self confessed Marxist and thankfully his window of opportunity is closing tight. Why on earth Corbyn didn't stick to his anti EU guns is beyond me. Cameron is gone.. poor guy
Won't it be more like a Tony Blair / Gordon Brown type of thing?I predict Corbyn getting in
Magnanimous speech by Cameron and very sensible. IMO exactly the right thing to do. Steady the ship then have an election.
I predict Corbyn getting in. I think people will trust him to fairly distribute the billions we may now be able to spend on the UK to replace funding from the EU.
Were you a UKIP voter. I couldn't imagine that you were a Milliband supporter, the coalition had just saved us from the labour mess, the liberals had committed suicide for the good of the country.I never voted for him, but I agree wholeheartedly with that statement.

I didn't hear him call an election.

How can he be a poor guy. He has acted as irresponsibly as he possibly could . He has talked the economy down and threatened the people of the country he leads with punishment if they don't do as he tells them. You have to ask what happened in his negotiations, we don't really know, as it is with the EU, things are done in corridors and with people we don't really know. He came back and exaggerated what he had achieved with the EU and pinned his hopes on there being more I'm alright jacks than truly concerned Britons. He got it wrong and has done the country serious damage.Cameron is gone.. poor guy

Okay, not sure why I am reopening this because I expect that I will just be shouted down and accused of falling for mis-information but ...
Walter Hallstein was never a member of the Nazi party and indeed rejected Nazi ideology.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_Hallstein
The only "information" I can find to support your theory re Hallstein is on a single website that could easily be accused of mis-representing facts (Also had an interesting article saying that there is good evidence to support that the Earth is hollow). Even so, thousands of people were forced in to the Nazi party just to be able to survive, and it is claimed that Hallstein joined professional organisations that were backed by the Nazi party only so he could carry on being a lawyer. After the war, he was never accused of any "crimes" and resumed his civilian life. England was saved invasion by the Channel and so never had to experience political repression and pressure such that the Nazi's imposed on their own people, and the rest of Europe.
He was not the first President of the EU, he was the first President of the Commission of the European Economic Community. There is no overall president of the EU as such:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/President_of_the_European_Union
He was one of the founding fathers of the EU, along with Winston Chruchill and other European leaders and academics:

You are using unsubstantiated information.
Read what I said and ponder. Read about corbyn's history. If you support him I will respect that but understand, firstly how labour left the economy in 2010 and where the old far left labour would take us. I appreciate it is personal opinion and I fully respect your freedom to have yours.Nothing was saved, just postponed.
You keep saying labour mess, it's greedy market mess, labour might have been in power, but you can't keep saying labour mess...
