Not my win:

eb.org.uk went for £210.

I bowed out, lol.

Yes, you have to log in to make a search in acorndomains, which takes a minute. Then?

What's the difference between sold prices being posted here compared to DN Journal, Domain Prices, DN Sale Price etc?

exactly

i would imagine nominet will choose to and have to reveal all of the sales prices publicly
then the blogs will report and dnjournal

i don't think any endusers are going to be bashing any doors down to get LL.org.uk on the aftermarket personally anyway ;-)

Anyone want to hazard a guess how much money will be raised for the Trust once all the auctions are over?

If Nominet and owners would not give individual prices how those sites would gather information? Anyway, I do not like people giving auction prices here. If you remember Nominet and nfpas did not give individual prices for sunrise auctions.

if theres one you have won or anyone else has won listed above
I'm sure whoever posted the sale will be more than happy to remove if you mention it by pm
I know I would, not a big deal

just catching up on the thread - as already mentioned, pm if there is any of your domain sale price you'd like to have removed from any of my posts and i'll remove it.

oh and forgot to add hr is still going on! day 3 and counting... wonder if there's any others still running??

Same goes for me.

I think in the interest of transparency they should stay up, many people who don't have a chance to participate in the auctions to see the value would like to see them and they serve as a valuable reference for the value of 2 letters. Even a few years down the line people may look back to this thread and think 'how did i miss that opportunity' or 'I dodged a bullet there!'

The fact is, no buyer is going to register on all domain forums to search for the domain they are trying to buy. Even if they did, its irrelevant them seeing the price it went for, because they missed the boat at the auction and they cant just get it.

This just sounds like some way of trying to drive the reseller price up by keeping people ignorant of the prices they went for at auction.

Assuming nominet release the prices they will start appearing on domain price sites anyway...

hr.co.uk will probably crack £100,000. The commissions are so massive that the buyer will get that back after placing a handful of senior execs.
