What you reckon for dr.co.uk - £10-15K+?!

Actually I think dr.org.uk would create more trust personally, if developed to the obvious subject. :)

I would have estimated about £10-15K as well, but there's is going to be some very deep pockets playing the co.uk game so who knows.... I'll be too bored with watching way before the end anyway if the ones so far are anything to go by.

Those are my initials, didn't bother with the org.uk, waiting for the co.uk. Hmmmm might have to rethink that idea....

wow - you should get a phd and become dr dr
more chance of getting drdr.co.uk :)

OK, common sense is kicking in, I'm out @ 200 quid now for a vanity .org.uk name that will make zilch return, that I also don't really need. Silly money this for this one! LOL:

At least I got the me.uk

zzzzz hr is upto 1800 now and doesn't show any signs of stopping....

Yes but some people might have large stash of money compared to you.

So org.uk is the only route for some

I'm presuming you forgot a "not" in that sentence as otherwise it doesn't make sense :)

It doesn't bother me if people want to throw money at them, it's not my money and it's just my opinion, so I wish them the very best of luck.

It does make me smile a little that quite a lot of people normally turn their noses up at .org.uk's and some great domains get sold on here and elsewhere for very little, but give them the option to buy one with two random letters and suddenly the wallet comes out.

A wise move - I got my initials in .me.uk at auction last week for only a few quid, now I'm wondering why I bothered tbh...

Does anyone have a summary of sale prices on a site/blog/post?

you mean this 414 posts thread isn't already an abbreviated enough version?? :)

Haha, there are more sales than the 'post worthy' ones! I'm trying to gauge the prices of .co.uk :)

There are 12 just on that list that would make the supplementary section of the DNJournal weekly report, and 1 that would probably also slot into the "top sales". Could we be looking in a couple of months at several consecutive weeks of sales charts completely dominated by .co.uk landrush sales? It's a nice dream, anyway...

I think what I've learnt from this first auction I've participated in, is that next time I'm going to bid high and early, see what happens. :D

Hi,

I have seen that you are posting names with auction prices on a public forum. In my opinion that is not a wise idea both for you and other people who won 2 letter .org.uk auctions. Remember a smart ass John Doe always make a google search before making a bid on those names and push those numbers to your eyes before making offers.

Remember domain name plays have a basic rule: keep your mouth shut!

Thanks
