No more street view in maps.

I love street view and its gone boo hoo

I guess people will love the new sat nav elements from Tom Tom in maps but not worth losing street view.

I notice my orange signal has been replaced by EE too

Anyone found anything good in iOS 6

Expect Google to release Google Maps app soon. There's already a Google replacement YouTube app for iPhone and probably one due for iPad, given Apple removed that as well.

There's plenty of discussion as to whether they'll bother. If I were them, I'd wait a while, let Apple user sweat a little.

I cant believe how crap the overhead maps are. The zoomed picture quality is shite and they've left the bloody clouds in!

If I was google I'd not do an apple map app at all!

I've just got iOS6 (mainly due to the Facebook integration).

I thought I'd be able to chat to people etc. without using the actual Facebook app but it doesn't look like this is possible. Or is it?

Also, I put all of my apps in folders but I had around 4 or 5 that weren't in folders (including the Facebook app), but there's only 1 of them after I updated to iOS6 now. I know I'm missing Facebook but I can't remember the others lol.

Starting to get sick and tired of this phone

No FB chat without an app. The ios6/Facebook integration is for sharing things in the main.



Have you tried swiping sideways to other screens in case they've simply been moved from inside folders? Otherwise go to App Store icon, select purchased and then not on this iPhone to reveal.

Cheers, for some reason I expected Facebook chat to be in the notifications menu when you get a message etc.

I feel so stupid now, swiped across and the apps are there! One screen only had 1 app so I thought the others were gone. It has been a long day, haha.

Yes I'm loving mine, especially the reduced weight. You can hardly tell it is in your pocket. The extra row of icons helps too as does the speed increase.

Re the maps, I got the TomTom app anyway so won't be using the maps, saying that maps does look good.
