I bought the domains because they were available just the same as anyone does when they buy a domainSo to summarise, you paid to block a 'good' use of a domain for three years?

AllegedlyHe's too lazy to actually *go* and donate. However he will watch other people put money in the collection box and feel that he is very philanthropic for thinking about it and an expert watching them do it. He'll then preach about how everyone should do it and nobody understands him because he's a visionary.
domain name investing is only about the buying of domains and then putting them on auto renew and every so often negotiating an inbound sales enquiry it only takes 1 minute to buy a domain name etc not exactly difficult clicking add to cart etc too many domain name investors focus on sales when instead they should be focusing on buying domain names
there is no need for the .co.uk as they use .uk which will be the main UK domain extensionIf this is true then it won't be long before you need a foodbank, so good job you are interested in them.
Also, givefood.co.uk is still free to register, so don't feel too bad. You can register it and donate it to givefood.org.uk - then this thread can be closed.

I find it amusing that the internet is just one global city which uses .com (and gtlds) which are both global and can be sold anywhere in the world and yet I am being told mainly by domain name investors that hold .co.uk portfolios of .co.uk domains which when you understand that the UK is going towards .UK only making .co.uk a defunct domain extension making their portfolios all but worthless etc within 5-10 years people won't be able to give a .co.uk domain awayAnd yet you can't seem to buy any domains that people want to buy from you. Surprising considering how 'easy' it is. Maybe you'll learn one day but I think with your attitude you'll die poor wondering why nobody 'understands' your strategy yet.
Seems like an odd direction for it to be going when it's going to become the main UK extension.
.de .fr .es .it .co.uk spot the odd one out .co.uk is not location specific whereas .uk is eg people don't say they are going to the .co.uk they say uk there is no need for .co.uk but those that own.co.uk have the same scenario as the early.com investors in as much as they didn't want people to buy gtlds because they bought .coms early on and have paid yearly renewal s for many years and they have too much domain name stock in .com or .co.uk they would have completely change their portfolio which they may yet still have to do plus more people are buying emoji domain names with more people buying nfts etc so much so that when I started looking at namebio daily sales many years ago it was basically sedo and all .coms now it's mainly GoDaddy with .coms and gtlds and emoji domain names etc the domain name space is changing fast and portfolios will have to adapt at the same pace etc just the way I see itCan you explain why virtually no one uses .uk and the numbers for it have constantly been falling?

. gold is only one of about 7 more gtlds that will get more sought after as first name . surname new gtlds etc but .co.uk has got to outlast .gold and I doubt it willI've figured it out. You're actually the underground domainer Liz Truss?
She's well known for promoting things that make no sense and make a massive monetary loss but still thinks the strategy is right and says a lot without saying anything.
Gotcha! Is it the bankers that told you the .gold gtld was the future?
Stocks are better than gold as an investment better to buy stocks through a recession than goldIt definitely isn't Gordan Brown then as he saw no value in gold and sold it all off:

.co.uk has got to outlast .gold and I doubt it will
Seriously though. How is 111k Tweets even possible? Who has that time!!!!
It's easy I've been internet only for many years so I don't waste time watching that defunct thing known as a t v, I don't watch t v I don't watch films as I have no interest in either just tech concepts domains and uk number platesWho doxxed platey, come on.

Just because a person buys an investment of any kind it's down to the investor to decide when or if they want to sell that investment and when I can buy a 5L .com or two keyword.com for reg fee I'm more than happy not to sellThe funniest thing is that if you did watch TV, you will have been more successful purely from watching TV and not buying domains, than all the hours and years you've dedicated to buying domains with no sales.
Not seen him around for years
