I have been using the Internet (via PAD etc.) since 1988, making money off the Internet since 91/92 and been doing affiliate stuff since 97/98. Different things. Different years.

I would have loved the speed of a 14.4k modem, compared to the 300bps or the incredibly fast 2400bps kit I had to use (as 14.4 hadn't been invented then). Luxury!

If your talking about net experience I was on wildcat bbs before the internet was as popular as it is now, it was around at the time but that was in the days when you used to actually have to pay for phone calls, so you would end up running up a thousand pound bill.

Then you were talking about 14.k modems and your still nothing boy.

Work it out, I've been using computers since I was 10, the first one was a home built kit that my uncle and his mates built and they programmed scramble, my first home computer that I owned was the ZX81 so 26 years later I'm still using them but not having the play time that I used too.

And yet your still a newbie with your eco ideas about a toyota car? Going on about wind turbines and other eco stuff?

Sadly 91/92 I was working for a living but I used to make £1,000 a week doing things off the net after that and that was when £1,000 was a lot it still is reasonably nowadays if your in a crap job then most dont even pay half of that.

I have a love hate relationship with money, then I used to carry about £300 in £50 notes and if I get asked for something smaller I would pull out the rest and say sorry I only carry 50's on me.

Too much work in the end and I would think sod it and go down the pub every night and blow £100 without thinking or go out an buy a car or spend £70 on a pair of sunglasses to which I lost pretty quickly.

I first got into affiliate marketing as I said when it was basically 888 casino paying 5 cents a click if that for advertising and that was setting up an emulator website and dealing with other aspects of the more popular internet world.

You can argue with me all night, but you still havent got a clue

are you applying via buy.at ? They are normally quite quick. Of course, they may actually see the domain as a threat to their affiliate budget...

It took nearly 3 weeks for mine to be approved a while back and that was after contacting buy.at about 3 times!

You never know you might get lucky if you are signing up for sky under satellite being your sole domain, they might take a look at it and put in an offer for the domain.

Remember buy.at have sky ireland as well which is a £25 sign up that might possibly do a few sales for you as well.

** Update

Sky Bet is coming onto AF so that will be a nice sideline for it as well as would get people signing up for the betting
