Yep replied to soon appears dead again database errors I'll give it a week or so but my inital thoughts are ask for a refund. This was ment to be a quick easy solution
Trying to find the best way to multi add products is hard when they don't give you access to the support forum

tbh there forum isnt worth going on for help anyway as the support dont respond to your problems so your not missing anything there. you best bet is to goto http://support.freshstorebuilder.com/ but again thats down.
 
Interesting to see that pretty much everyone (including me) is using the stalfoshop template. Has anyone had any success in building their own template?

I wonder if there's a potential for G penalising stalfoshop sites if enough of them are seen as low quality/thin-affiliate sites if they don't have much unique content on?

Hi i have a problem with FSB....
on http://www.dinosaursforkids.co.uk when you click on soft dinosaurs ... i get only 3 toys:( sometimes 6 :( but in database it's more than 30 :( what that can be? and how to fix that??

Cant think of my next idea!!! Im going brain dead here trying to think of the next thing to sell, everytime I think of something its either to expensive so not worth it beacuase of the cap or there isnt enough different versions of the product so I would only have one category, anyone want to send me a pm with any idea that your not going to use for products that would work well??
 
Do I need api accepted by amazon prior to installing fsb? I had previously applied a was refused on the basis there was no site there at all. I know someone suggested putting up a temp blog site and reapplying but is this the only way?

Does fsb install without api?

Ignore question above - it looks like i was able to get to the api without needing acceptance. amazon can be a complicated place!!

I've since bought FSB and My updated question - whats the products api thing all about, is that necessary?

The product API and your Amazon Associate account are separate. The API is for accessing the products and information, and the Associate account is for tracking sales and getting your commission.

When you get your Associate account make sure you link it to your Product Advertising API account, as the more sales you make the more "API Requests" per hour you get. You start with 2000 per hour (which to be honest is enough for quite a few busy stores) - each request is something like updating a product price, adding a new product etc.

Thanks - I do not think i've applied for a product advertising api account yet, i'll have to have a look into that!

I know using the search term that i have specified there are loads of products within the category i'm selecting but i get this error... is it a common thing i'm doing wrong?

I've left the filters alone for now....

Yep, I get that problem quite a lot. One obvious but easily overlooked solution is to check in your settings that you are using the UK version of Amazon, not the default US one.

That being said, I still get that message on some of my stores, especially with clothing items. I'm just adding the products manually at the moment. Takes ages but I can't see a way around it.

Well that's a bit odd. I'll ask the question of support once i have my FSB forum acceptance. I'd suggest that if this is a common problem then it's likely to have a fix. I've used the UK code in the filter so it shouldn't be that.
 
Has anyone got any traffic generation tips? My site seems to have had more visitors from this forum than from google in the past week (and we're talking single digit numbers here!!)
