He added in the word public before auction to make this clearer after my email.

Mine have been credited back to my account. I'll find out tomorrow if they'll credit back to my card, as I've been using the credit from previous day, to pay for the current day. If not, I'm sure Amex will have a word.

I don't think it will be an issue as it gains pace in the following years to come. I dont regret taking part as I have been lucky and picked up some premiums. I have gone for domains that I would want and I now have my pick, when I decide on developing them.

Each case is different so whether they will have a case against you depends on how you use the name, but by definition EVERY RoR release has a matching .co.uk (or other) that has been registered. Will it cause problems? Definitely. For everyone? No.

How on earth could the owners of carsforsale.co.uk claim passing off of carsforsale.uk if both websites are listing cars for sale with different looking websites?

It would be grossly unfair...
