Paypal payment received awaitng clearance:cool:

Hi all,

To clarify, we make payments the same day that we receive the corresponding funds from our search partners, which has typically been net 30. Since we are not a big company with large cash reserves, making up-front payments has been particularly tough to organise, especially when you consider the large sums involved each month.

That said, I expect to announce net 5 very soon, which will be briiliant news for our partners (...and for Streamic).

All wire payments were processed yesterday, so these should clear on Tuesday. Paypal payments are being sent off today.

Happy New Year to everyone :)

Paypal Issues

Hi

Paypal have stopped us making payments from our bank account because they are worried that we are making fraudulent payments. Which is obviously complete rubbish. Myself and James have spent all day on the phone to paypal and the Bank trying to sort this out to no avail.

This has never happened to me/us before and is one of a number of ongoing issues with paypal, mainly because of the type of account we have in Gibraltar.

All of our bank transfers are going out as normal and people who have elected to be paid by wire will not be affected at all. I have paid as many people as I can personally until we can get the issue with paypal sorted which should be on Tuesday.

Sorry about the inconvenience of waiting for those who weren't paid today, but you should not have to wait any longer than Wednesday. As a measure of good will we will send a small bonus for those who have had to wait.

Over the next week we will know for sure about the Net5 situation and will be announcing that also.

I hope this has not affected your New Year too much.

Apologies

Paul

Oh, this is a present for new year :) take it easy, it is not a problem. Just another question, If your payment system returns to Net5, We will be paid also for December earnings on January 5, or Net5 system will start on February?
Thanks.

No worries Paul - thanks for the update and Happy New Year to all at Streamic!

Stephen.

Thanks for being understanding... its been such a pain , would much rather be enjoying the festivities, not talking to callcentres.

The earliest it will be able to be done is February. But we will update you all next week with the full details.

Happy New Year!

Received payment via paypal. Thank you Streamic.

eeekkk! is that correct I had to pay a paypal fee of $xx.xx to receive payment ?
Also checking my only other previous payment from Streamic also was charge to receive that one.

Would I also have to pay to be paid if I opted for bank transfer?

Not blaming Streamic, obviously its that money pinching bastard of a company eBay's fault

Yes, you are right. I don't remember perfect but paypal takes %4 as a commission. (I have personal paypal account)

I could understand a charge to send but a charge to receive, rubber duck that!

umm I bet they charge both ways... double rubber duck !!

Can you mail me paul.harwoodATstreamic.com with the amount you were charged? We tried something a different method this month, just interested to see what the actual cost was and if we can cover it.

Thanks

Paul

Paypal charges either sending or receiving party.
If sender uses MassPay function, he pays for the transfer (something like 2.5%)

Most parking companies doing withdrawals via Paypal use MassPay, so customers always receive full amount.

Yes we did have that as an option, however the MassPay option would have meant more delays for the payments (again issues with offshoring) , thats why we didn't use it. But with the introduction of the NET5 Payments this should be resolved completely.

Announcement on NET5 coming shortly. (within a week)

Cheers

Paul
