The Telegraph states that Sedo handled the sale. The Nora quotes do not state that Sedo handled the sale. You should sue the newspaper if you're not happy. Or try the PCC. Best of luck with either!!!

The sedo one is very carefully worded so that although it doesn't specifically say they handled it, it does read like it. It is not exactly a big jump to think they did this on purpose, knowing that the press would 'missquote' them.
That is the essence of 'good' journalism. Ask Madeleine's parents about it.
Sedo is legally safe on this one.
not really, spoke to my solicitor this morning, it was sedo who outsourced the press release and sedo would have checked it before going to print. I still have not heard anything from sedo.

Daily mini quiz...
Recycle.co.uk has sold for a record £150,000. What UK domain held the previous record?

Whether or not the domain names includes a website has little relevance unless that website has significant 'goodwill'. A business wants to do it their way....
personally i think green.com is far better name...indeed green.co.uk is for sale and can be picked of for a fraction of the price....when given excess money one spends excess money...human nature

You may have explained this before Paullas, but how did you acquire the name, and the £150,000 question, how much did you pay for it?
