I take back my comment about 301 on parrot - seems a clean - if not "built" link profile.

Heh he's still used a 301 from both the other sites but definitely a lot cleaner than some of those other sites! He's pretty damn good at SEO. Interestingly Parrot has a lot of Polish backlinks, they look bought from somewhere.

froginawell now displays 'this site may be compromised' in google.

He keeps rotating domains, there is nothing normal about how he's doing stuff. It's amazing what he's doing so kudos to him.

The black hat hackers are back, payday4vip is number 1 now (before it was payday-4vip) They hacked this site: http://www.alphabetarm.com/ this time.

I wonder what vulnerability they are using or if they know their own zero-day one...

EDIT: Ok digging a little deeper I have found most of the vulnerabilities on these sites, they're just using known vulnerabilities which the owners have not fixed - I guess they are doing specific queries on google to find these sites and then hack them.

To get the full story you need to use google cache those odd sites froginthewell etc are being used to rotate the #1 sites.Parrot loans had the same 301's.you'll see today parrot loans has 676 301's and 10k's of backlinks,it's a popular backhat technique and as you can see works well.It is the reason why the site itself(frog one) is ranking on the first page, age and massive amount of links.Every site that has been #1 for payday loans lately has used the same 301's.

Note the site getting the 301's will drop eventually but they simply set up another site and rinse and repeat,I've mentioned this in the penguin thread.
There is a way to do this for permanent results, takes a little longer but the results are permanent.

You don't need to hack sites to do this. They will have targeted very aged domains, you can buy them.
It's based on cache,it's why they switch the 301's on and off.

You can whitehat this technique easily.

You need to see the historic index and fresh index of parrot loans to see whats going on,no 1 month old site would hit #1 for that term without blackhat in a big way, that's guaranteed.
The fact is I checked these sites, they are not true payday loan sites, they are middlemen.

Is anyone else seeing seoco.co.uk showing up on page 1 for payday loans?

Interesting, about a week ago I was analysing the backlinks for one of the payday loan results, and on the same site it had backlinks, there was a payday loan backlink to seoco.

Something is really messed up here, and has been for a while now.

Hi everyone, I've been watching this thread with great interest.

I'm new to this forum but would like to request some assistance from you kind folk. This thread is relevant as payday loans was one we were producing leads for, and the methods the owner of Parrotloans is using is something that we need to consider.

Hopefully I'm allowed to post this here and it's not breaking any rules.

I own various uk based emarketing companies that operate in highly competitive niches like unsecured loans, debt management, ppi claims etc.

Most of our clients sites have dropped significantly since the Panda update. We're on the verge of loosing these clients due to bad performance.

We are looking for someone that has the 'know how' to get sites back up there at the top. Whether it be by using redirects or other methods. we done really care. Historically we are 100% ethical white hatters but as the saying goes 'When in Rome, Do as the Romans do', hence we need to change our ethics. Especially since Google is punishing people who stick be the rules. A Proven theory since listening to the interview with the guy behind asktheBuilder.com

On PPI alone we have gone from producing 90 leads per day down to 1 per day if we are lucky.

We wil share the bounty with anyone that can help.

If you want to start using the methods used by some of these guys then you're going to have to start hacking peoples sites and redirecting them, which is almost certainly a criminal offence.

Plus you have the moral implications of hurting other peoples businesses to make money yourself, which is pretty diabolical.

I do know someone who might be able to help you (i.e. almost certainly can) I could give you his details, but it won't involve hacking or anything illegal, just black hat, and he ain't cheap either.

PM me if you want his details.

Hi dashu1

Thanks for your quick response to my post.

For the record we definitely don't want to do anything illegal. We are just sick of playing by the book as its obviously not rewarded anymore by the almighty G.

I'll PM you now for your friends details.

Cheers.

You do not need to hack sites, this is a common technique in certain circles,it has only come to light because of the recent updates.

The owner of froginawell has just tweeted me a blog post that he's written regarding the 'payday loans' result - at one point he was offered $500/day to rent the domain. Fascinating read.

@Emarketing, Google is not rewarding people that break their terms. In fact their recent updates have made it way harder for traditional manipulation techniques to work. What's happening here are hacks, but your rankings have probably slipped because of devalued links. It's the SEO companies that were prepared for these updates that have really done well.

I would just like to add to my above post. That blog is seriously candid stuff - a top result for 'payday loans' is apparently worth £15,000/day.
