One person catching a lot...

I'm surprised he went for that one... he normally sticks to premium .co.uks. Has he ever gone for SEO domains? I had it booked at DropSystem (priority 4), DomainWatchlist, DomainJunky, DomainMonster, DomainView hosted... I was pretty hopeful :( Maybe there weren't enough premium domains going yesterday so he had to find something else! I got Contessa which is ok, but I'm not sure he would have even gone for that anyway.

I know what you mean.... the scraps that I'd once catch aren't even likely any more!

Everything naturally ends, things change, so grab it while you can.

Discretely grab a few names for a x months, or outrageously grab everything ? If you are not breaking any rules, why be selective ?

More selective that it didn't draw attention.

The music will stop eventually.

Less attention, less fuss, the more likely changes won't be made at Nom Towers.

As we've said before, it's not about public catchers not being fast enough to compete, they are for the most part and I've caught several reasonable domains with public catchers over the past year.

My current script is custom coded and when I've tested it against domains I've also booked at public catchers it's outperformed them everytime. But with that said, it's still far too slow to compete with Denys. Or, there is a factor/variable we don't know about.

The problem with him catching everything is that sooner or later, people will start to resent it.

Catching to the level of last month AND running a service that relies on domainers is mutually exclusive IMO - you can't have your cake and eat it.

What service do you mean? His domain catching thing? Would have thought that makes him peanuts in comparison to flipping his inventory.

I think people will continue to use DL as a sales platform no matter how many domains he catches - assuming people still have something to sell! I don't think he should stop doing what he's doing to keep in domainers good books. I would imagine DL makes peanuts compared to his domain sales.

He has some great domains - no doubt about that...

He has one particular domain I've had my eye on for last 6 years. One day I might make him an offer he can't refuse - however I'm still saving up!

He certainly must do well from selling his domains.
