Nominet shambles

Ah, thanks Grant, another useless addition to their system then.

Totally, after waiting yet another 5 minutes for my domain manager to load I just got 8 of these useless notifications, one of them was from a bulk transfer I did 16 days ago.

I do like the green box idea, I think I'll adapt it and get the Mrs to hold up some green cards on random days, just to remind me what I had for dinner a couple of weeks previously.

FFS. I cannot accept a domain transfer to me without entering all my details. I cannot login and accept, this is ridiculous. Can anyone help?

Assuming you are a self-managed tag, you need to log in to your online services, click on the domain manager near the bottom (not the web domain manager) then Nominet will recognise you as logged in, so you can click the link from the transfer email again. Complained about this to Nominet ages ago but it seems they are too busy playing with parking sensors to give a damn!

Look this doesnt work. I swear Im going to get a flight to the UK and meet the idiots responsible for this.

David your link does not work whether I am logged in or not.

I do not get a 'domain manager' below, only the web domain manager.

I cannot accept a fecking transfer, this is starting to affect my life.

I'm not on my own here. I've got a brand new tag and new membership and its the same as it was before. If its a reason as daft as using one email address for more than one thing I wish someone would resolve it or tell me what email address to change to something else, this cannot carry on.

I dont use idevices. I tried on my Samsung S6 and had no joy (on a side not , its not responsive, what on earth are they spending all the money on!).

I've tried firefox and chrome. I'm using Windows 10. My Setup is exceptionally standard, not blocking cookies.

I've just tried another machine, a new convertible laptop. Its exactly the same, it's clearly an account/email address glitch at Nominet, not to do with browser or device. Id have had a site built on this domain by now!

I myself just logged into WDM on my iPhone using Safari and then clicked the link I published further up this thread. It takes me to the correct area. Following all that I would revert to the transfer email and click the link I had received. If this doesn't work for you then the issue may be personal to you, or to your setup with Nominet or to your browser setup. Are you blocking cookies at all? Have you tried another browser or computer?

your domain manager link gives me this

I transferred a domain in this week, not to my own TAG as I don't have one. Checked the box for Whois opt out and voila it didn't work.

The people working at Nominet couldn't grasp that I had definitely checked the box and said I couldn't have. The responses were so poor I said I'll screenshot it next time.
