I just got an email telling me I'd won a domain that's still running. Is this legally binding ? :)

Site is down for us. Anyone else?

Perhaps freeze proceedings, and start off tomorrow when they can prepare and present a stable platform?

Oh dear, oh dear, what a complete shambles! ;-O I think maybe when they knew there was a problem this morning the whole thing should have been put on hold, the auction platform hasn't appeared to be that stable from the word go imo. My IE browser has crashed on more than one occasion and seems to freeze and dramatically slow down viewing any other sites. I'd be interested to know if anyone else has also experienced this?

The web site you are accessing has experienced an unexpected error.
Please contact the website administrator.

The following information is meant for the website developer for debugging purposes.
Error Occurred While Processing Request
Error Executing Database Query.

[Macromedia][Oracle JDBC Driver][Oracle]ORA-12505 Connection refused, the specified SID (frankm10) was not recognized by the Oracle server.

Please be advised,

As a result of a fault having occurred on a server at our second site,
the auction is suspended.

We will notify you as soon as possible when the auction is to restart,
and of the precise circumstances of that restart.

At this stage we can advise that the original problem with our leased
line in our area has now been fixed (this problem was a regional
issue).

Once again, apologies for any inconvenience caused.

NFPAS

Wonder if they'll reset all the timers

Are those other sites housed at hosteuropegroup.com?

We can’t sit and wait for the auction to start any minute. They should start it 10am tomorrow i think.

I totally agree and what more all bids placed today should be null and void and the auctions restarted afresh when NFPA have sorted out this problem.

It depends if the issues were present from the beginning, if the platform couldn't handle bidding in the last seconds, awarded names should stay that way.

Ok but some people (including me) couldn't log in to the NFPA website first-thing this morning with no reason as to why this was. I unfortunately hadn't opened my emails and just kept persevering to log on to their site ;-O It was only when I read the email from them that I knew what to do. I think everyone should have received a phone call to inform them of the alternative website arrangement before the auction began in a different place imo!

Did you miss out on any?
