Unfortunately UEFA will do everything possible to stop the home nations next year because it will probably be better watched than the Euro's over here. Personally I'd rather watch England in the Home nations rather than the Euro's.

Totally agree that Barwick should also go, he could have dumped McClaren a few games ago, he didn't and now he has to pay the price as well.

To be honest, I'd rather the homenations tournaments be on a similar setting to the rugby style played part in october/Nov, part over xmas, part over mar/april than be at the end of the season.

I'm not sure what EUFA will have to do with any of if. Isn't is a decision of the respective national bodies in the end?

Each of the national teams need at least a half dozen matches a year to find any consistency.

The only people I can see really scuppering it are the clubs themselves having to have a tighter match schedule and losing players.

But they're pansies anyway, they should be able to play to that level.

England need to get back some pride and passion. The players are just turning up and not reproducing the form they have shown in for their clubs. They need to be motivated before they start their WC qualifying campaign and I see the home nations tournament as the ideal starting point for them!

I can find 100s of better players then beckham here. I even can use free-kicks as good as him with my right. May be with my left I can produce less performance than him. If the motivation is money but not pride then well england is way way inferior to croatia or russia.

Actually I wanted the pity guys to qualify so that we would beat them. I meant beating them bad!

Well no cry, you can set a colony nations cup and play with india or singapore.
