England need to get back some pride and passion. The players are just turning up and not reproducing the form they have shown in for their clubs. They need to be motivated before they start their WC qualifying campaign and I see the home nations tournament as the ideal starting point for them!

And yes, bring back the home nations tournaments. Why not make it a six nations tournament and include 2 different continental teams each year, eg Italy/France, Belgium/Netherlands etc.

The odd international here and there is no good. Like having an exam and doing no revision. Have a winter break, and have 2 internationals instead.
