A great example. Here's a non-exhaustive list of places a URL shows up, most of which are not immediately related to the site itself.

I just can't believe that someone reaching out to end users and selling domain names for FAIR prices is being ridiculed. He has also shared with us the template of email he sends to help people out. I think it is great.
There are so many people complaining that the arse has fallen out of domain name prices and this guy is showing that you can still move them on for healthy profit, while also not asking for thousands of pounds like many people still try and demand.
Here is my outbound marketing message that has produced a large number of (small, sub £200) sales in the past week alone.

Hello,
You may be be interested in a keyword-centric domain name that recently became available and that we are now selling:
PublicSpeakingCoach.co.uk
Domain names and URLs play a part in getting noticed on searches. We intend to put our Spider lift (tracked access) pages under this domain with Links back to our main website.
(The buyer was: lifterz.co.uk)
What do you put in the email subject line?
Woke up to another very small end user sale:
TutorLondon.co.uk - £69.
Better than nothing.
The domain name itself.
One of those a day would be over £25k a year! It all adds up.
Wouldn't that depend how many domains you have to register to get a sale
£3.75 being the cheapest if you're a registrar (unless there's an offer somewhere)
If you only sell say 1 out of 10 that eat's up quite a lot of profit
No idea on what % Fed sells compares to registers as he hasn't said and no one has asked.
To be fair Edwin never mentioned the word 'Profit' he just made a factual statement.
Did you find what I said not to be factual?
Yep, it is factual but not relevant if net and gross profit were not mentioned in the original statement.
Profits aren't relevant?
I knew you were wrong, you've just realised you're wrong, at least we're on the same page now.
I suppose you don't know anything about me so I shouldn't be insulted, but it's still kind of insulting
Let's cool things down, before they get out-of-hand/context.
Murray clearly has his viewpoint/opinions, and other members have theirs.
Even if the large majority of members here do not seem to agree with Murray's reasoning and logic, let's nevertheless respect that fact and move on.
Now, if you all agree, I will keep posting my small end-user sales from time to time.
Despite the small amounts posted, I believe it is encouraging to see that by focusing on the right niche keywords, it's possible and rewarding (with some effort) to move a good amount of inventory each month, generating a solid source of residual income/profits.
you are leaking infoAdmin said:Hello. So, do anyone happen to know anything about Whois and how it can be accessed?
