Your lack of response is disheartening greatestdomains.

I'd appreciate it if you at least made the effort to explain here in this thread.

I too am waiting for a reply as to why 2 of the 5 domains i've setup to try it with, are no longer showing any results.

Please check to make sure your on-site contact form is working

Hi guys

I have been in Spain for the past 5 days and have very limited access to the net. I will PM everyone who has a issue in the next 24 hours

Just a quick note about the link at the bottom of the pages. Your vistors are looking for products and I doubt they even notice the link.

My sales have died off now. Still getting clicks but no sales.
Is this an across the board thing, or are my names just no good? :)

I'm thinking about setting up a couple of sites with my own affiliatewindow links, just to make a comparison to see if it makes any difference. My unique visitors versus clicks on myaffsite is abysmal. 1000 uniques with 30 clicks so far this month. Only one sale. I'm on the one click system so would expect at least a 50% click through minimum. I'm not too worried about conversions, I'm expecting them to be really low, as normal, but the CTR worries me. If the visitors don't click through, I don't get my 30 day cookie. So they must be closing the site without clicking through. Why?

Getting the click through should be the easy part. On a normal aff site I would expect to convert minimum of 1-2% of visitors. If I can't do that then I'm wasting my time.

Perhaps the stats have been delayed.

I've had 1,579 unique visitors across my domains there but zero sales to date.

I was wondering when my next sale was going to come in, it's been quiet for a while sales wise, first sale since February 12th came in today, sold a £1500 bike on my carbonbikes site, a nice £55.76 commission (pending) makes up for the wait

I've had 1,579 unique visitors across my domains there but zero sales to date.

The unique visitor stats for my sites are:

Dec = 587
Jan = 3576 (many sites were on page 1 and 2 of Google at that point)
Feb = 2626

But that doesn't include the domain I took down the other day, that one had received 1203 visits in January and 740 in February up to the 13th, so getting on for nearly 9000 unique visits in total for all the sites.

My visits are down on last month as my sites on Google have dropped from the first couple of results pages for some reason , but all of them are still pretty well ranked on Yahoo search, the one I got the sale from today, carbon bikes, is position number 1 for "carbon bikes", plus I get traffic from my bike training logs site will push people to my stores, and that will increase once I get my new bike and start logging my rides again. I have a couple of topics on mountain bike sites that have had 76,000+ and 96,000+ views, with links to my site in my sigs on each post over the last 12 months, which all helps with traffic/sales.

Even my lowly lap-tops site has had 4 sales, doing a search for "lap tops" on Yahoo and clicking on show only lap tops shows it at result 5, it was number 1 for a little while, not bad for a .org.uk :D

My sales to date below, the xxxxx site is the site I removed due to a possible drs by the previous owner. I wish Wiggle would get their fingers out and confirm payments quicker, Chris said that should be happening once he's updated his site:

[edit]

@ Chris, I thought Wiggle only paid 1% - 2% for bikes and up to 7% for all other stuff on their site, but by my calculations, they must have paid around 5% on todays bike sale = £75, minus your % cut leaves £55.

Have they changed/upped their payout % for bikes?

First order!

I just got my first order, commision £6.77 not bad, it was from my child monitors site in my sig.

Made another sale today, not as nice as the last one, but still :

Fri 27th February 2009 Mountain Bike Frame Wiggle Online Cycle Shop £10.49 Pending

Just recently, my 2 mountain bike frame sites had dropped down a bit on Yahoo search, checked them again last night and they are back at position 1 and 4 for the term "mountain bike frame" and "mountain bike frames", hopefully they can stay up there and increase sales. The same thing happended with my bikelights domain, it dropped right off the search results, last night it's back at number 2 on Yahoo, I wish Google would rank them as well as that :(

@ Greatestdomains, what's going on? Your last post was on February 25th and you sent me a PM reply then saying you were in Spain, and would be updating the payments soon, that was 2 weeks ago.

All of my payments going right back to Janauary 18th are still pending, as well as those in March, apart from the 2 laptops payments that are confirmed, when are you supposed to be updating payments, as we are due the next payout on March 15th.

You told me Wiggle can take up to 30 days to confirm payments, that's fair enough, but now, most of my pending payments are over 40 - 51 days, others are over 30 days and more are about to reach 30 days in the next few days, I have marked below in red how long each one has been pending for, this needs sorting out as it's just escalating day by day:

Thu 29th January 2009 www.xxxxx.co.uk Halfords £5.50 Pending for 40 days
Thu 29th January 2009 Mountain Bike Frame Wiggle Online Cycle Shop £7.89 Pending for 40 days
Wed 28th January 2009 Laptops Play.com £0.03 Pending for 41 days
Tue 27th January 2009 Carbon Bikes Wiggle Online Cycle Shop £6.01 Pending for 42 days
Mon 26th January 2009 Carbon Bikes Wiggle Online Cycle Shop £0.18 Pending for 43 days
Sun 25th January 2009 Bike Lights Wiggle Online Cycle Shop £0.82 Pending for 44 days
Sat 24th January 2009 BMX Bikes - Mountain Bikes Wiggle Online Cycle Shop £7.49 Pending for 45 days
Thu 22nd January 2009 Carbon Bikes Wiggle Online Cycle Shop £13.06 Pending for 47 days
Thu 22nd January 2009 Mountain Bike Frame Wiggle Online Cycle Shop £4.30 Pending for 47 days
Tue 20th January 2009 Mountain Bike Frame Wiggle Online Cycle Shop £3.94 Pending for 49 days
Sun 18th January 2009 Mountain Bike Frame Wiggle Online Cycle Shop £2.92 Pending for 51 days
Sun 18th January 2009 Carbon Bikes Wiggle Online Cycle Shop £12.60 Pending for 51 days

Wed 25th February 2009 Carbon Bikes Wiggle Online Cycle Shop £55.76 Pending for 13 days
Thu 12th February 2009 Mountain Bike Frame Wiggle Online Cycle Shop £5.75 Pending for 26 days

Feature Suggestion.... Any way that you can have some sort of warning as to when a supplier no longer supplies feeds. I recently had battery-shop.co.uk up and running, then without warning the feed supplier dissapeared. If it hadn't been for me going into the account to ascertain just why my site's content had dissapeared, I'd have been none the wiser.

It would be nice to have some sort of alert, as I dont have the time to visit all the sites daily just on the off chance that the feed has dried up, and I have a site sat there doing/earning nothing.

The other one being gophysio.co.uk is still not showing results, despite the list saying that the 2 suppliers feeding the account Physio Supplies Ltd

PhysioRoom.com Ltd

are still assigned to the domain, again, another example of why we need to be kept informed if the suppliers feeds are not correct.

Dave

My conversions have been attrocious.

I'd like to close out my account but I've not yet reached minimum payout of 20 quid. I don't think I will either at this rate.

EDIT - I have now removed most of my shops, but 1 of them had revenue which has now disappeared from my account.

PS the shops are not loading at all anymore, all I get is a blank white page after 5 minutes of loading.

Yep; Have now closed all mine, Nil support, Poor conversions and service too unreliable.

I have kept a couple open just to see if things improve. I'd like to see some more response from greatestdomains.

Got a £4.59 commission in my account today for a sale from the retro sweet shop in my sig. Must have been from a cookie as I moved this site to my own hosting last week. The date showing for the rev is 2nd March

I saw Chris (Greatestdomains) was logged in to Acorn yesterday, sadly, there is no response from him on this topic.

I'm still waiting for all my outstanding payments going right back to Janaury 18th to be paid, see my post on the previous page for details, here:

http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/affiliate-marketing/46374-5-free-all-new-affiliates-9.html#post175759

I check the sales/visitor stats for my stores every day, I find it strange that there has not been one single purchase listed this month, compared to December, January and February when there were quite a lot, but logging in today shows one pending commission of £5.62 form March 13th, which has suddenly appeared overnight, so why has that suddenly appeared, is it that you are now updating the site/payments etc?

@ Chris, you really need to sort all this out before you lose any credibility that you have left!

Hi guys

Will email or PM you all within the next 24 hours

Got some great plans for the coming months

Regards

Good to see you are still alive Chris :)

I think you have a great setup, and I hope you don't let it go tits up.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I am giving this a bash. I have placed digital television, HD, LCD TV, Plasma | digital television, HD, LCD TV, Plasma deals on as it wasn't doing much already.

I am struggling with the lack on intuitiveity around the options.

e.g. I can see how to modify the numbers of categories to display ... but none show up ... how do I see/change those

I can see how to change no. of manufacturers, but again none show up. how do I see/change those.

From first impressions, we could use a small manual or user guide.

Supplementary Question: People seem to getting disillusioned .... are there still some happy campers around receiving payments OK.

Hi,Chris,i tried one myself but all i got was mysql database errors ?
Any suggestions ?

It was petrolchainsaws.com
