Thanks, I've already watched Chuck. It's relatively fun, but not up to the top 10 I picked out...

I used to love The Young Ones, with Rik Mayal, Adrian Edmunson etc

It looks so dated now though.

Weeds (even better than Dexter IMHO)
Dexter (just started S04)
Inbetweeners
Peep Show
QI
Mock the Week
Northern Exposure

i dont watch tv anymore (no english tv here)

but i used to love the fast show, and more recently spooks, and hustle was good.

I'll have to try weeds then!

You should, it's a great show, some fantastic characters.

Dexter S04 excellent! John Lithgow is v good!

I recognised him in the first episode, that character's a long way from Dick in 3rd Rock from the Sun (another of my faves)!

no particular order:

californication
breaking bad
white collar
leverage
dexter
entourage
weeds
the wire
hustle
burn notice
how i met your mother
the shield
the office (us)
gilmore girls (im straight i swear!)
prison break

i dont really watch films, but I love my TV shows. shows over here in the UK are poor compared to the US. Hustle is the exception which is excellent. If you like hustle check out white collar and leverage.

also shows im gonna check out next:

heroes
lost
sons of anarchy
mad men

i can get english tv via torrents, so if 'er indoors wants something i can usualy find it.

but at the moment its far to hot to sit and watch the goggle box :D

Lots have been mentioned that I love, but one of my favourite series, that hasn't been mentioned yet is Frasier ;)

It's interesting to see some of the lists include literally NO US TV shows! Some of their programs definitely match/surpass the "best of British" so you're missing out if you're dismissing shows from the other side of the pond!

Classics but goodies:

Dads Army
Only Fools and Horses
Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister
Porridge and Going Straight
The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin
Blackadder
Seinfeld

They don't make them like they used to!
I'm a big fan of the old british stuff but more so the films. I love all the old ealing comedies and a big fan of Will Hay, Norman Wisdom, Carry on.
