I signed up the other day and had a play with it ( I am not a developer), put very little content on and went live. Within 24 hrs I was position 1 on G /co/uk.

Sadly the name has no exacts (yet) so a monkey could have achieved position 1

I really just wanted too mess with the platform before I put a full store together.

Type into G diamond jubilee hats if you don't believe me

No, not at all. Best way to learn is by doing.

Have a fiddle around with the template, colours, graphics, css, etc bit by bit.

Then add a bit of unique content and hey presto!

I've just started playing with this and the auto-populate option is doing my head in. I'm trying to populate it with wine containing the keyword 'blanc'

Browse node: 359905031
Search Index: Grocery
Required Keywords: blanc

Manually running auto populate it goes through 11 pages and finds 6 products then goes back to page 1????

Looking at the node page ( www.amazon.co.uk/b?ie=UTF8&node=359905031 ) and searching for blanc returns 246 products.

Am I missing something here?

Sorry, did you mean a mail on here? I sometimes lose track of the messages on these threads. If not, you should have received a mail response from your support ticket..

The best thing to do is contact support - I have a great team who will answer soon as possible. But I will chime in here when I can

Amazon limit the search results pages to 10 only via the API. Try experimenting with the filter keywords etc. to see if that brings more products in.

We have made a lot of changes to the autopopulate for the next version, which includes allowing multiple autopopulates per category and a a better way to see exactly what products you are getting.

If you need more help with this autopopulate contact support and we will take a proper look for you

can you confirm that the tracking codes are working? For the last few months I have had a pretty consistent conversion rate of around 1 sale per 4 clicks . This month (s1st / today) over 70 clicks, no sales.

am I just unlucky or has something gone wrong?

Yep, was looking for some sort of automation though, particularly if the site's not that niche and has hundreds of products with new stuff being added regularly.

The auto populate by search term/filters works much better. Seems odd to me that a search term isn't used on the node search rather than it bringing back the first ten pages of the entire node and then filtering by the keywords, I'm guessing it's a limtation of the Amazon API?

If you do get the auto to work still go to keep an eye on it from time to time as it likes to add random products that are nothing to do with what you are selling, i do find you either set the setting to low and get wrong products or to high and no products,
I havent found the middle yet. I usually do it all manual anyway, once your setup it doesnt take long to add new products

Found a lot of issues with the third party CSS code on a couple of the templates, whereby they are making calls to non existent files and also adding margins that are overriding the main styles.
