When I see a price like this (which I think is worth it) it makes me think that whoever got film.uk (which was attracting similar levels of interest in terms of unique viewers) paid a fair price and possibly a bit of a bargain.

I guess he has run DL for years without fees if you don't sell so can't begrudge him too much

Yeah, I will add though the transparency wasn't great, some emails could have been sent out beforehand notifying

£10,750 for a £5 purchase is a reasonable profit margin...

And whisky.uk is a really useful domain name for whoever bought it.

My nephew finished school early last week (he is 8yrs old) and popped into the office as my sister works with us.

I was watching some domains finishing on DL while working.

He was busy playing on his iPad.

He then joined my in watching whisky shooting up. We then played a game. Who could guess the finishing price!

He is now addicted to DL and wants to buy and sell a domain name so that he can buy his mum a new kitchen
