I can see value in cloud domains but I'm not sure of the appeal of this one. In what way would the cloud be 'official' in any sense?

Sorry duras but, that word pairing is terrible.

The idea of descriptive/evocative word pairing is to "ring-a-bell" There's no such thing as an "official cloud" in cloud computing/services

Worthless. If you're going for cloud terms at all (and it's an over-mined niche already) then think "cloud hosting", "cloud computing" and "cloud storage" which are the main components of cloud service offerings.
