I was highest bidder before 9pm

I bid at 8:59pm along with 4 others at that time so thats hardly sniping

so surely all bids conducted after that 9pm should be invalid?

Hi Julian, apologies if the sniping rules were unclear.

I understand that it means bids placed within the closing minutes are deemed as sniper bids.

There were were six bids placed between 8.55pm and 9.00pm, and four bidders at 8.59pm. All of these I consider to be sniper bids, which is why the auction continued to run.

Have accepted the final offer of £555 placed by packeted.
