Anyone get their keywords admitted to sedo's front page fixed price keyword domain sale?
I've been trying to get a whole list of keyword names submitted....

If you mean Sedo.co.uk/keyworddomains-Sedo.co.uk, I've got one.

I submitted 3 and they rejected what I thought where the two good ones

Some of the ones I've got listed in the promotion are linked on the rhs of the link below (newish site but there are a few things there).

Please note that I placed a list of domains with the Sedo brokers, who took a selection & priced them. I then submitted the domains where I agreed with their price.

BTW, if anyone's got generics w/ prices I'd love to see them via email / PM / the contact form on the site.

Sedo and I cannot agree pricing for names. So they are not going in, I do not want them listed lower than I have offers for and have to pay sedo commission for the privilege.

approval.co.uk:: search volume: 823,000, but they thought not good enough.
animal feeds.co.uk :: 14,800
anglaise.co.uk :: 673,000
mosquitoes.co.uk :: 246,000

and loads more good-ones, in my opinion rejected totally irrationally.

The actual UK Exact Search volumes for these names is:

approval.co.uk 1,900 [approval]
animalfeeds.co.uk 590 [animal feeds]
anglaise.co.uk 480 [anglaise]
mosquitoes.co.uk 3,600 [mosquitoes]

The figures you were quoting were the global Broad match search volumes, which don't really bear any relevance on UK domain names.

This means your figures are for the numbers of searches anywhere in the world that contain the words in the domains... As an example [Boxe anglaise] means "Boxing" in French, so your figures are including searches for [Boxe anglaise] done in France and Canada in the French language which isn't really important to a UK domain name.

Same problems with the adult auctions, dont think they really knew the meaning of 'adult', they probably havnt got their heads round keywords yet!! Give them a year or two
