Do a “ps ax” and see if you have something like datetime.syncd running - it was my VMware messing

So by using cron job, server will start at 14.00 BST without me having to start script manually?

Install “at” so “at 2pm [run script]” ctrl-d

Except .. it’s not as simple as that. So I run at 1:59 , then I sleep my script for 59 seconds , then I use micro sleep to send it 25ms before 2pm. It doesn’t work well enough to get the ll.uk drops but it is the general idea, still tweaking, I’m determined to get that z.uk... The epp connection and login have to be already open and waiting too so only the create to feed in ..

Good way to check through your list to see if any .uk you have put on is registered or you've made a mistake with on of the domains on your list. Run the script before 2pm just once and it'll list your domains as available for missed. I had put a couple .co.uk on my list by accident when they were meant to be .uk obviously and a a comma here and there instead of a dot. Prepped and ready for 2pm, only one more day of this

If it's a Xen VPS try this:

echo "1" > /proc/sys/xen/independent_wallclock

Then then stop NTP, use ntpdate, start ntp as before

Thanks! I did like both of these, but not sure on the market. I'm a photography myself so could turn into a personal development. Re. trademarks, not sure. Just fancied it. I welcome negotiation and would release for a nominal fee to avoid DRS, but eh. I'll try my luck for now.
