The candidates are:
  • Thomas Rickert
  • David Thornton
  • Steve Wright

I understand that Jim Davies has been disqualified or removed for not submitting some paperwork. Don't have more information on this.

Also, Phil Buckingham is not taking part in this year’s director elections (was announced after stepping down from the Nominet's board) https://www.nominet.uk/phil-buckingham-steps-down-from-nominet-board/

@invincible do you plan to take part in the Election Discussions on the 2nd day of the Summit?

Probably a gov takeover on the cards in the future, can't see this organisation carrying on indefinitely for better or worse.

sounds like the same old nominet - making up the rules as they go along -
'security screening' - where did that come from? - we want a free and fair election open to all -
hope Jim is successful with his action as I want to vote for him

When you drill down it's generally just another Coutts setup with some ideological activist types at the helm with a private agenda on the direction they want to take this over staffed company. Simply look at where the money flows and the string of failed projects. It needs cleaning up badly.
