I want to optimize a domain in Sedo Pro (choose keywords, appropriate photo etc.) but since it's not had any traffic YET I can't pull it up in the various Pro views, since they all seem to be fundamentally about displaying different views of domains which have received traffic in the last N days.

How can I select ANY domain from my portfolio and get access to edit all of its pro parking parameters?

cant you do this from the "domain list" in the far left hand column

* PRO Statistics
* Domain Overview
* Domain List
* Domain Trends
* Domain Optimizer
* Domain Details

* Payments
* Parking FAQ

Punch the name in your browser... make sure your not logged in on a session though...
the name will, once the visit is recognised, appear in your panel, then you can go to work...

Kind of nameserver reslove check...

I've also tried to optimise domains without any traffic but haven't yet found a way. I don't think the list that you mention Charlie shows all domains on an account. I just took a look at our list and it seems to be only two thirds of our total portfolio so I assume those without traffic aren't showing. It also appears that the domains that are missing may have had traffic in the last 12 months but not in the last 32 days.

Perhaps sedo could enlighten us on this. It would be really helpful if we could optimise all domains including those which have had no traffic in the last month. I must say that the 250 new photos are really helpful and I have already seen poor performing domains increase the CTR. Most domains are earning more under the new sedo pro although we do have a couple of special domains that are earning a lot less - overall though we are well up at the moment.

- just saw your post wwwdomainname and yes I've done that to get a domain name to appear but it's a bit of a long process and I'm sure the sedo tech guys could do something to make it simpler.

Hi Edwin,

I asked the same question a month or so ago. here's the post from sedo:

Hi Paul,

Thanks for addressing this. It is true that a domain must have at least one unique for it to be optimized using the SedoPro optimizer. Because the SedoPro optimizer not only changes the master keyword, but regional keywords, related links, regional related links, search boxes, landing pages, etc, it must recognize that a domain is parked before optization can begin.

However, you can still 'pre-optimize'' your master keywords using the old domain management system. Simply log in, go to the domain management tab, and then use the drop down menu to select ''Parking Optimizer''. Here you can optimize all of the domains you have listed with Sedo--even if they are not parked yet.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns, or feel free to contact your account manager.

All the best,

Sedo Staff

Paul

tempts you to fake your own traffic just so you can edit the keyword especially when the domain is something like
www.gardengates.co.uk
where you know what visitors will be looking for

Ok, the visit-once-but-don't-click tactic worked. Thanks!

Hi all,

Great news! You can now optimize all domains in your account, even if they have received no traffic yet! We just got word from the Tech team, and it's a go!

Kind regards,

Your Sedo Team
