That's like going for a flying lesson, you say to the pilot please can i see your licence and he says take it from me i am a qualified pilot, no chance would i get in :)

Not really, the risk level is not the same. The only risk to you is typing a few words and seeing if I start talking sense.

Well done. I guess a paid membership would be a drop in the ocean for you and would show people your intent.

Do you feel like Accelerator owes you something?

Or am I reading this wrong.

Given the fact that content is everything when it comes to the success or otherwise of a forum, shouldn't you be paying accelerator and others for their posts instead of charging for membership?

Pretty well. Probably better than a lot of people on here. No million pound sales yet though.

Just man up and post some of your sales!

More than likely you've not done big ones hence why you use the old "discreet" excuse

Accelerator's posts are priceless. ;)

Content is everything, yes, and should be encouraged.

No content = boring = no visitors.

So if I post a domain in this thread, would you review it, so we all can see the quality of your reviews, and what to expect?

Or, could you post a review of one of your own domains, so we have an idea of what kind of service your providing?

Pretty well in the same way that lowprices "makes sales" and "converts ok"?

LowPrices does make sales, but not many. I have never pretended that lowprices is making a lot of money, it's not. I'm still working on that. Other affiliate sites of mine have done better than lowprices. However, I have been quite successful with domain sales.

Is domain sales and affiliate sites your full-time job/main source of income?

Sure go ahead. Post your domain and ask your question about it.

Ok, well masquerading.co.uk (is that ironic or what!!!) drops in a few days time. Is it worth me booking it with people? What potential do you think it offers? Will it make my life complete?

He must be making a few thousand a week with a network of sites like this

Personally I would not reg it. It's too complex a term to be strongly brandable. The -ing ending isn't good either. I wouldn't bother booking it. Very little potential. No it won't make your life complete.

Personally I would only register shorter and more strongly brandable domains, and I would strongly favour .com over .co.uk.

The chances of a good sale on masquerading.co.uk are very low, but not impossible. If you are going to reg brandables (and weak ones like this) you would need to sell high to support the high number of renewals necessary.

Personally I would look for something better.

Alot of assumptions there Accelerator.....how could you possibly advise when you didnt even ask him what he's going to be doing with the domain ? and what his plans are, as far as you know he could have some devious, evil, genius plan for it and you've just put a spanner in the works with your shadows of doubt.

There isnt a one response fits all when your advising people, especially when its concerning investments into things you may not have enough info about to be the right judge.

Yes, that's correct, it's just a free second opinion to those that want it.
