I've just noticed that my description for this domain I currently have in auction has been edited to remove part of my business name!

Not sure why you people at Sedo feel the need to inhibit the seller in this way? Can you please confirm that these changes were indeed made by Sedo and the reason why please?

Its probably to circumvent any attempt by buyers to make contact with you directly, whether that can be done just on a business name is questionable their is the whois after all.

Thanks a bunch.

Well, thanks for not showing a blind bit of interest Sedo. That was pretty much what I thought you would do anyway.

As soon as I complete this auction I am also taking ALL of my domains from your database.

You know what? I run a separate business away from domains and if I was as slack as Sedo at responding to my customers I doubt that I would have much of a business at all.

I have a new logo for you Sedo

Are you leaving them because they edited your auction description?

Please call or email Sedo directly and we will be more than happy to help.

foz, I'm leaving them because they do very little these days to help domain sellers, unless of course you own a marvellous generic term like computers.co.uk. but of course, if you own that type of name you wouldn't need Sedo's help to sell it anyway.

It's not about one action, rather a few combined: poor service, pathetic returns on clicks, etc etc

Fekix,

So where are you heading to get better returns on clicks ?????

John

Hi John, I shall develop the domains into sites and use adsense & affiliate links instead. Obviously got a lot to go through, but there's better potential of both selling the domain and earning a residual income. If I can get each domain to earn just £1 a day, that equates to around £150,000 per annum...compared to about £50 per annum with Sedo.

Fekix,
Thanks for coming back.
Understand your decision, and with your existing activities you are probably best placed to make it work.

Cheers

John
