OK I have done a test import and can see users and the forum posts.

2 bugs so far, forum posts all show "01-01-1970 12:43 AM" and users show "imported_" before the username.

Looking for answers now.

I'm off to do a forum backup!

If its any help, I have a PHP script that will do the DB backups. Run it via a cron once a day and it will ensue you always have a recent copy.
