I made an offer for a domain recently of £100. They countered with £600. I upped to £250, and no reply back. I've decided I want to confirm the orig £600 but not sure if that's possible. seems I can only make an offer now.

Thanks for any help ;)

I think you can make another offer, else end it and resubmit £600 offer.

BTW, do you know who the owner is? if so they'd appreciate a direct approach given the fees they'd have to pay thru Cdoh! ;)

bear in mind tho they can send the 600 offer to auction for us all to feast on ;), i would go the direct route personally.

If you can't track them down to go direct for some reason, and they don't respond to your current offer, perhaps offer the smallest possible amount but leave a comment with "counter back with £600 again and it's a deal"...

The only downside is them not being able to see the comment before moderation, but it should avoid the auction scenario (if you think it's worth more to others). ;)

Has your offer expired? If not, might be worth waiting a few more days. If you can't go direct, why not phone up sedo and ask if they'll phone the owner to see if they'll still sell for £600 and tie it all up with using the offer/counter offer system.

Definitely want to avoid having it pushed to auction, I've been burnt by having an bid close to their offer price pushed to auction and the price running way over what they originally asked for.

Counter with a slightly higher offer, £275 or something, but add a comment that you don't expect them to accept it, and that if they reply with their original counter offer of £600 – you will accept it.

Your counter offer is binding for 7 days, so if no reply within the time, go make offer one more time. I made few offers on Sedo, and some with no reply at all.
