I’ve seen DN36 enough on 192.com today to know I’m right.

Also did glossary.co.uk actually drop or did you quickly delete it with an epp delete command then quickly fire off a create command on your tag?

Glossary.co.uk dropped from ANGUS (Giant Games Ltd) which isn’t me

Called this out on the RoR drop - if you can't see that he's cheating, or think he's just very competitive, you simply don't understand catching.

On one day he caught 30ish lll.uk domains - there's no way he could get the order right and if he did, he still had to be sub 5ms on each one, if he's polling 24/7 he gets one check every 200ms spread across all these domains.

Even if he got the order spot on (think of the deck of cards in the right order is less than a billionth of a billionth of a billionth of a billionth of one percent) he would have still only had 2% chance of catching any domain.

The numbers don't lie, and I've no idea why you guys are giving him any respect..

(cue the standard aggressive response from Ben claiming we're all idiots or something)

Much more likely that he has an army of tags that are all checking for either lots of domains, or a single domain.

You could easily get 30 tags and 30+ IPs on a single server, create a single program, bind the socket for a TAG to a particular IP, check away - then fire an EPP create from his own IP/TAG when an N is detected.

Pooling DAC allowance across 30 tags in a single program and having a single EPP is pretty straightforward. Maybe ask Nominet which tags are firing loads of DAC requests with no associated creates, pretty obvious they would be cheating..

My god I wish I had access to their logs..

Are they bound to honour a freedom of information request?
