Hi

I own the domain - www.northern-ireland-jobs.co.uk

I would be interested in anyones apprasial as to the value of this domain/site

I currently run it as a jobs website. Monthly visits have now grown to well over 1000 UV a month due to increasing visibilty on the search engines.

It is pretty highly ranked for the most popular search term - 'northern ireland jobs'

It has a Google pagerank of 5

it is
No1 on MSN
No2 on Hotbot UK
No2 on Lycos
No 8 on Overture

It continues to climb the search engines every week

I really don't have a clue as to the value of this domain/website and any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
stevie

stevie - big one this to value.

5691 overture for = 'northern ireland jobs'
so your rankings on the search engines are good for this market. Its fairly exclusive in terms of content but the more specific the market the better the potential.

Been a hyphenated name you probably aint going to get many type ins but obviously works well on the search engines.

the domain name itself probably has very little value except now you have the traffic therefore the value is more likely to be based on your monthly profits.

website is basic no really value in the design or content (20 jobs)

In this instance i would say the value to an "end user" is far more than to a domain investor who probably look for 12-24 months x current profit.

if you get approached by a recruitement agency i would hold out for a higher multiplyer (dependant on current profit levels)

this should influence your plans - personally i'd hold on to it, build the traffic and job numbers then approach a recuitment agency when you feel.

just my thoughts

Charlie - thanks very much for that really helpful info. Some food for thought!

I have thought about approaching some of the N.Ireland job agencies with it.
