Wanted: Domain Appraisal WireFunds.co.uk (please appraise)

JFP - strong name. Would be worth a TON in .com. Probably a nice pick-up in .co.uk.

My only question is whether the term "funds" is as popular in the UK as here. Others on this board can probably help with that. It seems like the domain is taken in US-based extensions, but not Eurpoean-based extensions.

thanks jacal

hey if you and i ever butted heads i apologize.

thanks for the input.

how can i sell these domains?

My best, easiest, and quickest sales have been through these forums. You could also search "wire funds" +UK in Google and see if there are end users to pursue...

Good luck.

Was going to post ages ago but didnt want too get your hopes up that I was stalking you ;)

Is a very nice name but very american and deffinatly not a major use term here.

Butttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

You could always use it to cater for the american market that are over here that do want too wire funds.

Normally in the states it is called wire transfer rather than funds but you missed out on a bigger name or so I think and another one.

I have just brought the following :

www.electronicfunds.co.uk and www.electronictransfer.co.uk and just picked up www.transferfunds.co.uk as well and I thought I might as well pick up www.electronictransfers.co.uk

Which seems more apt in some respects than wire as everything is now electronic.

So I shall be putting a couple of websites up advertising for Paypal and Escrow and others and taking a small commission for new users.

Also a lot of casinos use websites such as Netteller and a few others, so I can advertise for casinos as well and other online shopping and get commissions from those shops.

There all registered now so can post this ;)

wirefunds.co.uk is worth reg fee imo - it's an american term that no one over here would type in, let alone understand what it is.

Mark's reg'd more 'realistic' domains :)

well thats funny

i did a google and there are plenty of uk business that use the name "wire funds"

they cant be wrong too can they?

its a good domain

its a good domain

"wire funds"

"money transfer"

I know which term I would be using on a search.

Don't mean to piss on your BBQ. We all register crap domains! I have a list of domains that i wished I never reg'd!

Jee

Your so naive.....

wire is electronic

you said since everything is electronic today that electronic transfer was a better fit.

is Wiring funds not electronic LOL

did you just wake up?

LOL

:D :D :D

i didn't realise that this was a willy measuring competition.

You posted a thread asking for an appraisal, and that's exactly what you got. Not my problem it's not what you wanted to hear...

You deffinatly have to be american, your certainly not English.

wire transfer is a very rare term to use in the UK it is more common in the states with moneygram and other services.

Electronic transfer is a more common universal term

I picked up four domain names for £20 based around your wire funds and I can ensure you that my domains will make a damm sight more money than you will ever make from wire funds.

As I say though free advice, target your website to the american market in the UK as us Brits simply wont search for wire transfer.

Its either money transfer or electronic transfer over here.

God bless England

england is second rate to any american domain name. Americans rule the world
