Why would DomainJunky not allocate a catch?

Tried booking a domain today through domainjunky, got an email saying

"We have processed your recent submission to the Domain Junky system

These names could not be allocated catch slot"

Not implying anything at all, Just wondering why would they not be able to go for it.

Posting on here as it said "please do not reply as your message may not be processed" and someone else may have an answer.

Thanks
Matt

That's Alex's system (monaghan) I'm sure he'll fill you in as to the reason

They are processed by a cron script I think, my bookings have never been instant (that I know of) so I would assume multiple people can submit a name, but only the first gets allocated it ?

Also possible (again I assume) that you could submit more than your queue can hold between submitting and processing ?

PM me the name and I'll take a look, no idea without knowing the name.

Usual reasons are not suspended or LLL.co.uk, if it's in the processing queue or already booked you should get an instant NO.

As Skinner suggests, the processing & booking is done on a cron job, hence the delay in getting the email response.

Nothing sinister going on :)

Domain was renewed yesterday, so suspect the renewal may have happened between the submission and the name being run through the DJ queue processing job.
