Hello to everyone

I am guilty of this myself, but I just wondered why people parked with Sedo when they could just get the ads up there themselves and get all the cash from it? Is it because the ultimate aim is to sell and that is easier via Sedo or are we all just too lazy to sign up to Yahoo/Adsense/etc?

Be interested in your thoughts.

Cheers

Simon

To get a google feed to create parked pages you need to be getting an insane amount of unique visitors. The alternative is Adsense which relies on content to determine its ads so you would need to build a site for every domain name you own, not really an option if you own hundreds or thousands of domains.

Time and energy is the determining factor I would say.

When Rome was built, it took longer than a day...
When it fell, it's ruin was almost instantaneous by comparison...

Who want's all that hassle? Let alone the expense...
It's the easy and best option... Also, the most respected marketplace...

However, its easy to knock up 1 site per day (2 or 3 hours) and make more from Adsense (and of course have the sites listed in SE) then simply parking it.

Ive created sites within an hour that make more in 1 day then they were making a month in parking. - catherine tate couk for example, took 35 mins to create. Isnt much to look at but is bringing in a lot more than when parked at ND

Thanks for your comments, it's kind of the answers I thought but interesting to float it out there. I think you have the right idea Firestars, if you've got an ounce of design ability then it's pretty easy to do. But as you other guys point out, if you've got quite a number, then it's easiest just to push em out. I'd like to think I'll develop mine some day!

How many unique visitors are required to get the Google feed? :)

Isn't it now possible to Google seo the domain before parking on Sedo?:)

The last figure I'd heard of was 750,000 pcm, but I'm not sure what it is now.:)
