I'm still buying .coms

Keeping an eye on technology for wider inputs and usage "So Nothing that's been nailed to ground by Tm's or proprietary technology"

Gesture-stuff looks good at the moment alongside wearable technology (Strictly .com's if you can find something available)

Have you got a blog or anything Bailey where you have talked about you successes with .coms? Id be very interested to read about your experiences.

I have no experience with .coms, obviously it's a very different game from .co.uk, I would like to get into them but at the same time I don't want to throw away money

Thanks for that acknowledgement Murry. I've been very lucky with dot coms, spent equal amounts on .co.uks and com's over the years. Concentrating only on the .coms as the money came in. I really only got to grips with the UK market after joining Acorn. Yep, I thought it would be reflective (proportionality) of the Gtld market. - In the few years that I have been "I like to say active" but to be honest learning the UK market - I now know different. (so wish I'd just stayed with .coms)

I'm sorry to say I don't blog or do very much of anything, i'm strictly a domain investor. I look for my chances and take them as they come - they are harder to find these days but, for me its no different to playing those word games that are so prevalent on the internet - its fun but far more rewarding to do it with domains.

Hope you get my gist, And it's not all good when it makes you Lazy

Mate .com is a whole different board game. I have been a member of Namepros for nearly 6 years, so I have been investing far more in .com than .uk during my time as a domain investor.

Like I've said previously one of the mistakes that I still make since investing in .co.uk is expecting brandable domain names that sell easily in .com to also sell easily in .co.uk, which they don't. So in other words in .com a CVCV or a nice two word brandable like 'Proven Results' would have a far greater success rate of sale as opposed to .co.uk. Recently I sold BookLuxuryHotels.com for $800, I doubt I would get anything in .co.uk and I also sold AnimatedTShirts.com as well, which again is the same. The flip side to this is that highly brandable .com names even in the reseller market can reach low $x,xxx, so they cost more to invest in.

TreeHouses.org.uk
2400 local exacts
4400 local exacts for [tree house]

dropped today, noticed other popular TLDs are gone.

taken about half a dozen in 'equity capital release' mechanisms of late.

Used to be called simply 're-mortgaging' but there's more of a 'Policy Purchase' market coming into play these days - which can only get bigger as the population ages
