Judging by the name of the reg, I'd say Low balling will get you ignored, as it looks like they are domainers who buy 'personal names', so better making a serious offer.

These are the people who have my surname too.

Anyone had any dealings with these people ?

Gary

The point has been made above, but I'm equally curious... How can you feel that you "just missed registering" a domain that's 10 years old? I would be VERY rich by now if I applied the same logic to names registered now that were available back in 1999!

Im suprised at the comment that Paul made as he has been buying domains.
The comment is the sort you get from a lawyer or someone who does not know anything about domains.

You ask for some help and only get questions expect Gary and nobody answers him

You asked "how do I get my surname" , me and others answered by saying "buy it".

Not liking the answer is different from ignoring peoples replies.

How is it abusively registered? You just answered your question

Nope, I didnt. How is it abusive?

Yes it abusive because "hopefully" they are not Leahys and should have no rights to the name

Thanks for you quick reply rob

Its not abusive, if you want it you will have to fork out the cash!

Ignoring that they may have a leahy in their family, business or other need, how do you propose to stop another leahy being annoyed like you are when you have it? It is 2009 ;)

Why .co.uk when there are many others free to register?
