Hi,

I've got a domain, iBlib.com, and don't know which category to list it in on Sedo. I see it as a social networking domain (but open to suggestions if anyone thinks otherwise :) ) and currently have it in the 'Society' main category. Can anyone think of anywhere else to put it?

Thanks

My observation is that "keyword" at sedo does not matter. I was actually suspecting this after they went to automatic keyword approval. My thinking is that the domain is actually getting its keyword from an evolving database from G.

Try it yourself and you will see what I mean. Change the keyword for social networking and then change it to non-social networking or something else and you see same advertisers every time.

I'm looking at this from a sellers point, I really couldn't care less about parking the domain as the income is so bad!

So I was just wondering what category I should list in in order to get maximum exposure to the social networking market.

Do you think people look for categories, sift through them and buy domains? What is the name by the way? I again can tell you does not matter whether you list it under business or health except adult since, except again in case he is a tirekicker who is lawballing, end-users type-in, land in and make offer if your domain has traffic or generisity.

As I mention in my first post, it's iBlib.com.

I always see the category as important since I go for the category showcase to promote my domains.

Again showcasing does not matter. If the name is generic or has traffic you do not need showcasing :D

By the way I prefer iBlurb.com instead.
