Planned Work Weekly Update on AcornDomains Development

Hi AcornDomains Members,

Just a quick note to share what I’ve been working on behind the curtain these past couple of weeks—specifically around improving the Live Auction Feed you see here on the forum.

As many of you know, the feed isn’t exclusive to AcornDomains—it also runs on forums like ConsultDomain.de, DomaineForum.fr, and soon, 27.be. The challenge? Each platform uses different domain marketplaces and TLDs, which meant I had to maintain separate versions of the add-ons—updating each one individually. Not ideal.

So, I’ve gone ahead and completely rebuilt the backend system to be fully dynamic. This means one single update will now work across all forums—making things much easier to manage and ensuring quicker improvements going forward. The front end will look familiar, but under the hood, it’s an entirely new engine.

This new system will go live on Monday.

But that’s just the beginning. I’m also rolling out some useful new features soon, including:

• Filtering by Majestic SEO metrics
• The ability to search using multiple keywords
• Custom alerts for auctions based on your filters
• And possibly even synonym-based search to widen your results

The aim is simple: to make it easier, faster, and smarter for you to discover valuable domain names.
