I have a client looking to monetize about 200 domains.
Summary:
GTLD dot Koeln (german client in the city of Cologne)
- Google maps based system with “all” category type of potential entries for any given domain keyword i.e.
o Tierarzt (Vet) = gives a map which fills 2/3 of the browser and shows entries (with our own ranking, recommendation and contact detail function)
o 1/3 of the window will be used to list all keyword type partners either: alphabetic, by ranking through recommendation, as fixed “ad” type of placement, etc.
Initialy looking to quickly set up basic single page directory, that directory uses the keyword domains. So if he owns vet.koeln the directory page has a link to Vets, clicking that link redirects to the gtld vets.koeln where the map and ranking can be seen.
This is a german client, everything would be german but all trasnlation and explanation would be done in order to simplify.
Client not fixed on the above and is open to ideas and direction, the basic idea is to put a basic page on each domain and those that get traffic can be developed further.
