Wanted: Domain Appraisal vodcast.co.uk

vodcast.co.uk was available !!

Its all over the net (video on demand "cast")

what do you guys think ??

I've never heard of the term before, the Google keyword tool says less than 10 people search for "vod cast" and 210 search for "vodcast" per month, it's a low competition term with no ads for it, based solely on that, I'll say it's worth little to nothing as a domain only.

Might be worth something if you were to develop it, but there would be many better domains available to register and develop, rather than this one, it's not something I would waste time developing.

I've looked at the .com, .net, .de etc and they're all parked pages, the .org is just a very basic personal site, the .info is another basic developed photography site, rather than anything to do with video or vod casts.

Hi m8 yea I knew when I regged it that the exacts was low. But I took a speculative punt on this.

I think its a relatively new term compared to Podcast and the BBC seems to be using this term which could be huge in the future.

I think maybe in the future a lot of news / media sites will have a vodcast.

So on that basis i think its worth not much at the moment but could be big (I hope) LOL

vodcasts co uk was Registered on: 12-Jul-2005, so someone was thinking almost 8 years ahead

Your version vodcast was on sedo in 2010 and whoever owned it let it drop, so not the best indication it's worth anything.

Who knows though, hopefully it does turn into something valuable in the future.

Make sure you try selling domains like this before you reg too many others like it. I think you'll find them very hard to sell on, so try it and see. Good luck, but be careful with these tech domains.
