Short, very brandable, therefore quite valuable to anyone who has a good marketing budget ... but still not quite as good as LowPrices.co.uk

Low prices are great, but value for money is better.

It really depends what people are searching for. I've not checked the 'bible' but like all the appraisals for great domains - it's all down to the build and SEO. Hard to value as a plain 'domain'. Having said that, of course low £x,xxx as it stands. An end-user brander might easily adopt it for much more.

you can't take less than mid xxxx for it and probably should take a whole lot more

think of , very.co.uk as an example

these sort of gems are hard to come by and best to wait for a bigger fish imo that wants this 'worm'

Agreed it's a nice domain, but the problem is whether the bigger fish will ever arrive and see the need to purchase something like this though. After all it's not associated with one commercial industry in particular so there are plenty of alternative domains out there to choose from.

Saying that, I'd probably give you low £x,xxx for it...

I don't disagree at all and I do like the domain, I would even be interested in developing it myself... but like I said, it's not associated with one commercial industry in particular and for that reason there are a huge amount of potential 'brands' available for anyone interested in entering the above.

Seems to me to be the type of domain a fairly large retail operator would be quite willing to buy/hold for a "perceived" future use, rather than for anything immediate. Most retail consortiums work with any number of possible scenarios and will make property investments etc based on just a potential - Of course they are factoring a perceived book value also.

I would expect the domain to sell for around £10,000 quite comfortably, possibly higher. More of an asset to a company if its initial purchase is more of low-profile acquisition.

I would say neither value or lowprices are SEO domains. Both require development of a useful service and then a considerable marketing budget to "brand" the site and get the visitors IMO.

In the current climate, you're more likely to get a good price for value, than luxury. (That's not to say it's worth more!)

If I was to think value, then i'd say Tesco, Asda, Tk Maxx, or a shopping channel. However, would one of those like to develop a new brand? Who knows?

Value co uk this brings back memories I was in for this at auction 8+ years ago.

I had in mind at the time a value brand for a super market like Tesco’s, similar to what Sainsbury’s did with taste.co.uk (probably a bad example as the site appears to be down)
