User Name Change

Do you allow username changes here?

Thing is, I registered quite a while ago and now my username is not relevant to anything, I would really appreciate it if my username could be changed to...

Have been thinking about exactly the same thing, recently started my own business and it would be great to change to the name of that business

I never thought of asking that, I just got my old one cancelled then setup another account. I'd have about double my post count if I'd asked!

p.s. looks as if you can as I see one regular has without loss of post count. Should be a charge though for the hassle to admin.

Yeah, that be me.

I wanted a change simply to have more transparancy with my dealings on here. I think its nice not to hide behind a username, so I decided to change to my real name with real pic as an avatar so people know who they are dealing with.

I suppose it is a pain for Admin but I did ask very nicely and I have been here for a while

As like lee above, my thanks to admin for a username change, the 'programmer' name wasn't transparent enough for me going forward.

i don't think a name change is a good idea....you build a reputation using a name and then they dissapear from the boards presumed awol....why don't you mention before the change in your sig before and after it occurs...

Like lee and "firestars" he has changed his name ,location and came back even more aggresive lol (is it the same person)
