Urgent help needed for my dissertation survey!

Yeah I thought it was amusing, also funny to see how many people submit their email address for the draw and say they never give out their details, although it's not something I'm testing officially.

I wouldn't normally fill out stuff online or give my email address, but as we know you Also, as there was a £20 on offer if you submitted your email address, I thought I would take advantage of that, mainly because, in the event that I won it, it would stop any potential student from using the £20 in the uni bar, if I do win, please give it to a charity

No worries, thanks for that - the longest response has been an hour, but I guess they were either thinking very hard about it or had a rest in the middle.

Thanks for filling it in and don't worry about where the answers tend to sit, there are no right or wrong answers. I've been getting all sorts of responses from the extremes to neutral responses. I'll certainly have plenty to talk about once the results are analysed.

Cheers, really appreciate it. We're expected to get a minimum of 100-150 people so it's hard work trying find people to do it. I'm just glad the site I'm using exports straight to SPSS as there's no chance I could code and import all these by hand.

Average time is just over 9 minutes. Hopefully not too bad.

I wish it was the case, but I've asked several lecturers and its certainly a minimum of 100 with advised responses of up to 200 for the stats to work.

Sorry for the delayed reply, I was away yesterday. Thank you very much. I'm now on 34 so I have a long way to go! I'll try to draw up 'customers' on Monday when I'm back at uni so I'm still confident I'll have enough, but still a way to go.

I've had a bit more interest today with online responses now at 53. If anyone else has a free 10 minutes or so to complete the questionnaire the url is www.adg.co.uk. If I can get another 50 responses online by Thursday I'd be happy, although the more the better.

Thank you, much appreciated. I think most on Acorn who are going to complete it have done so now, but there may be one or two more out there so I'll update again over the next day or so to try to persuade any remaining people. I really appreciate the time people have taken on this, the combined time of all respondents is over 10 hours so thank you for giving up your time for me.

About a year ago, before the dissertation was officially set, we were advised to start thinking about titles and ensuring they would be practically relevant. I was going to look at domains and marketing, or something like that. As Acorn is full of practitioners I posted it here, but the consensus was against it so I switched to look at privacy concern and its effect on customer relationship management.
