ben please read the full thread before posting..

the site has made in excess of £18k since last june

a lot of people now because of lack of equity are prefering unsecured loans over secured loans

average unsecured loan for me is £7000 - £12000

dont know where you get £200 - £300 from as 1 back end payment from a 7k loan @ 3% commission would be £210 ??

the rate with AMS used to be a lot higher up to 9% at the highest on a back end deal , its NOW 3%

i never said all that 20k was down to that 1 search term .. if i did please let me know where , i merely stated it was now # 1 for one of the good converting ones ..

as for being # 2 for secured loans.. it's way to generic even doing PPC on "secured loans" would eat up a huge budget with crap results

longtail is the key and yes i said i was doing PPC but nothing major, certainly less than £30 per day , average was £18 a day for a while but now its organic

i have around 25 - 40 deals complete each month on a back end basis

ive been in the finance sector for along time so i know what long tail search terms bring the best results.
i dont just deal in residential finance but commercial as well and have approx 38 websites acorss the sector

the reason "secured loans" is too generic for ppc is because it is such a high volume/high price keyword that only corporate or deep pockets can afford. I sold a loans business that had 130 top ranked finance names in it which did 240 applications per day at its peak so think i know what im talking about. The most profitable term was "secured loans" of all of them.

what longtail terms does it rank for? it hardly has any pages and the longtails are not there whatsoever that i can see.

I only posted to stop someone losing money now i have said my piece i wont discuss it further.

ben

the £8 is for a per lead basis or you can opt for up to 3% of the loan value
the form automaticaly switches from back end to per lead once the respective merchant has received their daily quota

i should have explained it better

This is all very simple to sort out, if someone is interested in buying, supply written statements from wife or owner saying it's being authorised for sale, secondly, show accounts for merchants and partners and monies received plus all relevant stats, thirdly at £8k for a £20k a year return, having supplied all the aforementiond, someone will snap your hands off for it.

nice in theory but impossible to differentiate ppc earnings from organic search earnings. I could spend £100 a day on ppc on a site then sell it as a £40k per year site and supply earning stats etc. That is quite different from organic search revenues.

either way .. if someone used my keyword list and spent the same amount i did on PPC the earnings are irrelevant , £18 per day x 30 days .. is peanuts compared to the return

When reviewing site stats and logs, youd soon see the referral links surely?
