Asking for a high sum, due to the success of twitter.com, would be seen negatively IMHO. Rather like blackmail. £30K is a reasonable sum based on its generic value, with a bit of extra value thrown in for all parties. Asking for more implies that the value of twitter.co.uk has increased due to the use of twitter.com, and yes this works with property, however when a specific company rather than a growing industry greatly adds value to the .co.uk domain, I worry. That said we all want the capital gains on our domains, however domain law is rather nebulous.
