I'm going to register travelgleanersupermarket next month, when I have regged it then you can buy it off me for £150.

If you're not going to listen to good advice from experienced people then why bother posting ?

Do you think you can take a 1987 Kinder egg toy into an antique dealer who tells you it's worth nothing and then flog it to another dealer for £1000 ?

Wake up and smell the coffee

no travelgleanersupermarket would be reg fee.

but TravelGleaner.com is not reg fee.

the fact is neither are worthless.

things like that happen all the time.

I'd guess at least half of those were actually meaning to search for 'cleaner' :)

cleaner 135,000/450,000 are have of those Gleaner. Maybe maybe not unless you have evidence to support your claim. I don't believe your input is necessary :p

Very doubtful, as most people have never heard of the word gleaner! I'd stay away from the dictionary if I were you, just because a word is in there doesn't make it valuable!

yea and just because gleaner sounds like cleaner does not make half of gleaners searches a typographical error intended for cleaner.

What is your point do you have an appraisal for me do you want to buy it why did you post a comment in the first place, was it to make a joke were you trying to be funny for your peers what is your purpose.

Well let me rephrase the question now that we all know what gleaner means if you wanted a travel industry domain name to use for yourself how much would you buy TravelGleaner.com for

OK seriously.

To get a rough idea of how popular a domain/term is you need to search for the exact term in the google keyword tool, the exact searh results for 'travel gleaner' are:

UK: Not enough data
Global: Not enough data

You get the same results for a broad search.

No one is searching for this term which means the domain probably has low or no value. Your only hope is that someone comes along who is determined to create a 'travel gleaner' brand. The chances of that happening are very slim in my opinion.

If you think it has value over the reg fee why haven't you purchased the .co.uk too?

because im broke why else why the hell do you think im on here.

You may be right but in terms of end users looking for a short and simple domain name then i have the advantage. for example when i get my next check im going to put this and a few others on sedo's featured domain listings when i sell it i'll let you know how much i get for it.

In all honesty please don't waste your money doing that, it won't sell. Rather than registering available .coms at reg fee you would be much better off buying dropping domains at namejet or wherever, you can pick some decent stuff up at the minimum bid price of $69. Failing that buy .co.uk instead.

People are really trying to help you here. Look at their post counts - they've been around here for a while and have lots of experience. It'd be wise to listen to them.

My appraisal is drop it and move on, after a few more years in this industry, most will find their early regs are total junks, been there done that.
