Wanted: Website Review Travel website

I've just taken on a white label travel site, new developed so very much just the hotel connectivity is functional at present. Site is based on Drupal, so a steep learning curve on this also.

What i'm looking for is how best do i manage the SEO, Articles, link building, logo etc.

I want to do this properly and build the site over time. At present its a commision lead site, so i'm already thinking about more direct higher paying commision affiliates. Laterooms, booking.com etc

Any thoughts on how to make the best of the site and get visitors etc

looks really good, I entered a local posh hotel near where I live and it found it no problem. The comparison side of it is excellent, the only thing I wonder is on duplicate content if all similar sites using the same system display exactly the same data.

Would you be willing to install the same system on another site for me? I like it that much

Thanks Mally, the technical side of it looks good to me also. Tried a few searches myself and the prices tally up when i search a few other sites.

Thats the issue i have, but the 'hotel content' is 'no follow' so not really an issue for me, the major one is that of original content for the locations

So i make a static page for each major country then location, will run into 000's of articles or some other approach?? and its this i'm looking for some guidance on.

I dont want to rush out and spend 000's with no strategy

it is indeed the hotelscombined framework, just trying to consider an approach to get it ranked etc

All very good having the functionality but no visitor no conversions!

A bit concerned about the name, are you sure you want to associate hotels and bombs in the mind of your prospective holidaymaker?

Whats with all the love? I thought people come here for honest critical reviews so they can improve their website. Am I looking at a completely different website?

The technical side is great, it finds a lot of hotels and was fast and efficient to use. The design is not.

The blue gradient is not good, I would consider choosing a different shade of blue, the links at the top go onto the next line which would be acceptable without the pipe on the start of the second line.

The logo is garish and is a 5 second job in Photoshop, text + stroke + gradient overlay.

The text + links at the bottom have no wrapper. The blue buttons would be good 7 years ago.

The select a language page took quite a while to load in comparison with others. As does the home page at the moment.

Sorry if this comes across rudely, I am trying to be constructive :/

lol, great love it, i dont mind constructive feedback at all, the worse the better

Righto lets position where i'm with this at present, quite simply i've taken this on in its current format, look, feel etc.

Logo will change, have a few thoughts in mind
domain name, it came with this when i purchased it, personally think quite funny, a play on words type, defo in the brandable world, afterall how many G searches do you perform and pay little attention to the domain name

I'm still learning the drupal side of things
